Comorbidities as Predictors of Pain Outcomes After Primary and Revision Total Knee Arthroplasty

Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is the most common joint arthroplasty performed in the U.S. Studies have shown that medical comorbidities can have adverse effects on outcomes and are associated with perioperative complications. The UAB CERT recently published findings from its research that sought to identify the comorbidities associated with poor pain outcomes after TKA.
